The apartment at Il Carmine Charme & Terrace With Ac in Lucca was amazing! The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed. I loved the stylish living room and the flat-screen TV was a great bonus. The two bedrooms were spacious and the two bathrooms were very convenient. The bed linen and towels provided were clean and fresh.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the bidet in the bathroom, but I understand that others might find it useful.

The terrace had such amazing views, it almost made up for the fact that the apartment was in a building from the 13th century and didn't even have soundproofing. And let's not forget the free WiFi, because what would I do without it?

Oh, just the minor inconvenience of no soundproofing in a 13th-century building. But who needs a quiet night's sleep anyway?

Value for money was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and full of character. The location was perfect, with great bakeries, restaurants, and cafes just a few minutes away. The staff, especially Francesco, were charming and helpful. We felt completely taken care of during our stay at this hotel in Lucca.

That there was only one bathroom with a shower and toilet. It was a bit inconvenient for the six of us, but we were able to manage with some coordination.

We loved being just a minute away from restaurants and shops. Francesco, the owner, was incredibly helpful and caring. He recommended the best places to eat with reasonable prices and authentic Tuscany style food. We highly recommend this apartment and a big thank you to Francesco for his hospitality.

It was a centrally located and comfortable apartment, sympathetically restored in a historic building. the apartment had all the amenities I needed and was very clean. I especially loved the terrace with its views of the rooftops and lush greenery. It was the perfect spot to have breakfast and plan my day. Francesco, our host, was charming and knowledgeable, and his excellent command of English was a bonus. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration of the hotel. It had a beautiful Italian style that made me feel like I was truly experiencing the culture of Tuscany. The general areas were clean and comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed spending time on the lovely terrace. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent. The rooms were easily accessible and the staff was always willing to help with any assistance I needed.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is if the children working there could provide a bit more assistance with carrying luggage up the stairs.
